On Saturday, May 5th, 2012, join the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation for the 2nd annual Viva Las Vegas at Centre 200, sponsored by Casino Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Beverages and Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation.

You will be dazzled and delighted by casino-style gaming, astounding entertainment and gourmet cuisine from local chefs–all in an atmosphere of glitz and glam.

Proceeds raised through Viva Las Vegas will help purchase a new         incubator for the Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This equipment costs $35,000 and is critical to caring for 300 premature and ill babies every year.

Last year, more than 450 guests joined us for Viva Las Vegas to raise more than $38,000.

Guests were amazed as they tried their luck at cards, swayed to the music of a jazz trio and took in a performance by  D & R Dance.

One of the most exciting parts of the evening was a performance from Caberet Fantazias’s Cirque du Soleil style show, Le Mystere. The performers kept guests on the edge of their seat as they swallowed fire, hung from great heights and challenged their strength.

Guests were seated in an area that was unrecognizable to many, thanks to Celebrations Event Planning, as they sampled gourmet cuisine from five local chefs and restaurants.

Tickets for Viva Las Vegas are $75 each. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $750. Sponsorship opportunities are available beginning at $500.
