Current Volunteer opportunities
Sydney Ribfest 2019 - No more volunteers needed
The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation has been chosen as the designated charity for Sydney Ribfest 2019. We will be fundraising at the gate and would need volunteers to assist in donation collection and ticket sales. Donations collected at this event will be split between Caleb’s Courage and the Cancer Patient Care Fund. Sydney Ribfest will take place July of 2019. Date to be announced.
Because You Care Cup - 2019
Cape Breton’s largest road hockey tournament takes place September 21 & 22, 2019 in Membertou. Volunteers are needed to help registration, to sell merchandise and to assist with game operations. Volunteers will help make this a great experience for everyone involved! Come out for the day or volunteer for a few hours- you are supporting the Cape Breton Cancer Center!
Radioday - 2019
Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 Radioday will take place. Volunteers are needed for our “Bucket Brigades” placed around the community to gather donations, as well as needed for other opportunities on this busy day. We also encourage organizations to host mini fundraisers such as bake sales or BBQs and phone in their donations or stop by the radio station in person.
