The Countdown to Radiothon Begins!

With the beginning of September comes the action packed, fun-filled month that we have all come to know and love. As of September 1st, Radiothon Day is only 23 days away!

We have heard from many different community members and groups who have been working hard all year to raise funds for the Radiothon and we couldn't be more thankful. But it's got us to thinking - what fun, last minute fundraising ideas can we do?

So, naturally, we have come up with a fool-proof list of easy, enjoyable ways to support #Radiothon2015:

• Host a family BBQ & accept donations at the door
• Throw a neighborhood picnic
• Start a "Casual Day" at your workplace
• Win the jackpot at the Inverness Chase the Ace....

Whatever you choose to do, we thank you for your commitment to our community and helping to strengthen healthcare for Cape Bretoners.

Also, did you know - that every gift of $318 to the Cape Breton Cares Radiothon funds one full day of radiation therapy treatment at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre? Help us reach our goal of purchasing a new linear accelerator for the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
