Celebrating Summer: A Season of FUNdraising

Happy first day of summer, friends!

Here at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, we are gearing up for a summer filled with exciting fundraisers and planning for major events for the Fall. Let's take a quick look at how summer will look for our Foundation, and how you can help make it all happen...

Cheers to the New

With the addition of a new summer student to our office, we will be reaching out to support many events with our incredible donors and fundraisers over the summer. Back for summer 2016, the Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival will be once again, paddling the waters of the Sydney Harbour to raise money for the Cape Breton Cancer Centre. After a quick break last summer, this energetic group of volunteers has revamped the event and is hoping to add to their already amazing total of more than $380,000 raised to help cancer patients in our community!

Signature Events

As always, we are busy bees working to bring you a jammed packed September with many opportunities to support the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Between the Ride 4 the Cure motorcyle rally, the 3rd Annual Because You Care Cup, and our 9th Annual Radiothon - we can't decide what we're most looking forward to...

The Because You Care Cup has quickly become one of our most beloved events, by YOU, our donors! Participating in a fun, community event all while supporting a local cause. It helps that the event is SO much fun and is for pros and amateurs alike (even our "Foundation Felines" had a team. Our skill level, questionable..).

Be on the look-out for an announcement about our 9th Annual Radiothon coming up soon! This year, we have the same urgent need for community support, but some new areas of care that need a little extra TLC. Where YOU Fit in

Supporting our hospital is a community effort, one that is shared by so many of us - thank you to our donors, who truly give so much of themselves to their fundraisers and projects. If you're looking to become involved in supporting community fundraisers or making a gift - here's the good news...

Our team at the Foundation will be working hard all summer to support your fundraising efforts. Call us, email us, stop by our office in the CB Regional Hospital (we're open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm), we want to work with you.
